The Elephant and the Donkey

In this episode of History & Game - recorded in the middle of the night during a severe cold, I might add - we fragment historical narratives only to reveal their interconnectivity (and importance). The 1960s in America brought about numerous changes: the war in Vietnam, home television, the hippy movement, and the tragic, horrific assassination of an American President. In 1960, the Elephant and the Donkey were locked into campaigning full-time, balancing public opinion, and with the invention of the home television, and suffering widespread denigration solely based on public appearance.
